This displayed relatively heavy reduction so it is imperative to decant it if you're going to try one young. By contrast there is lovely detail and freshness to the intense, mineral-driven and delicious medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by very fine grained tannins on the balanced and linear finish. A Champeaux of finesse. Note that my score offers the benefit of the doubt that the reduction displayed by the nose is not permanent but there can be no guarantee of that at this stage and hence my cautionary question mark despite the excellent rating.
