While perfumed and strikingly complex, this pretty array of red pinot fruit and earth aromas is much more reserved compared to the nose of the Combottes. The pure and refined middle weight flavors are so fine that they border on the delicate and I especially appreciate the silky texture on the firm, lingering and mouth coating finish. This is not overly complex at present but there is sufficient mid-palate concentration that my range offers the benefit of the doubt that it will develop much more in time.
