Once again there is enough wood to remark upon, but not so much that is really detracts from the purity of the notably ripe aromas of cassis, plum, earth and cool spice nuances. There is excellent concentration and power to the robust yet opulent medium-bodied flavors that possess plenty of palate coating dry extract before culminating in a long finale where again there is a perceptible trace of warmth. Like several of the prior wines this lavish effort isn't exactly heavy but the usual elegance isn't present either.
