Moderately generous wood and menthol aromas surround the otherwise fresh essence of both red and black cherry, plum and discreet earth nuances. There is fine volume and concentration to the velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors that also possess a dusty and mildly austere finish where once again a hint of bitter cherry arises. While this too evidences a slight edginess, it is less prominent.
