A slightly jammy nose reflects notes of black berries, plum liqueur and discreet spice nuances. There is good power and again a taut muscularity on the palate of the medium weight flavors though the finish is slightly warm and slightly rustic. This may well harmonize but today it's somewhat awkward though my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt.
